Hey, Wise Woman—
Have you ever felt like…
you’re doing all the “right” things in your faith…
but something still feels… off?
You’ve tried to be consistent.
You’ve started new routines.
You’ve followed plans that seemed to work for other people…
…but somewhere along the way…
it starts to feel forced.
Like you’re going through the motions…
checking the box…
doing what you’re “supposed” to do…
but not actually feeling connected.
And then comes the thought you don’t always say out loud—
“Why does this seem to work for everyone else… but not for me?”
And if you’ve ever felt that…
you’re not alone.

The Hidden Reason Your Faith Routine Isn’t Working
Because most women I work with…
they’re not lacking discipline.
They’re not inconsistent.
They’re not less committed to God.
They’re actually doing a lot.
But what if the issue isn’t your effort?
What if it’s not about trying harder…
or being more consistent…
or finally finding the “perfect” routine?
What if…
you’ve been trying to grow your faith in a way that doesn’t actually fit how God designed you?
Because most faith advice is built like a system.
Follow this. Do this. Stay consistent with this.
But your faith was never meant to be one-size-fits-all.

What If Your Faith Was Never Meant to Be One-Size-Fits-All?
There are actually four ways people naturally connect with God.
And when you understand which one is natural for you…
everything starts to shift.
Not because you’re doing more…
but because what you’re doing finally fits.
So as I walk through these…
I just want you to notice what feels familiar.
Not what you think you should be doing…
but what actually feels like you.
The 4 Ways People Naturally Connect with God
Heart — When Faith Feels Personal… But Hard to Sustain
You connect with God through relationship.
You feel closest to Him when it feels personal…
when your heart is engaged…
when there’s a sense of connection.
Maybe it’s through worship…
or quiet reflection…
or moments where you just feel His presence with you.
But when you try to follow structured routines…
read this, write this, check this off…
it can start to feel mechanical.
Like you’re doing everything “right”…
but something still feels missing.
And then you start to wonder—
“Why can’t I stay consistent with this?”
“Why does this feel dry when it seems to work for others?”
Soul — When You Crave Depth… But Routines Feel Limiting
You connect with God through meaning.
Through beauty.
Through moments that feel significant.
You might feel closest to Him in nature…
during a meaningful conversation…
or when something just stirs your spirit deeply.
There’s a sense of depth you’re drawn to.
But when you try to follow rigid systems…
step one, step two, step three…
it can feel limiting.
Almost like it’s taking something that should feel alive…
and putting it into a box.
And over time, you might find yourself drifting…
not because you don’t care…
but because what you’re doing doesn’t feel meaningful anymore.

Mind — When You Want Understanding… But Faith Feels Surface-Level
You connect with God through understanding.
You want to know what Scripture actually means.
You want depth.
Clarity.
Truth.
You love learning… studying…
seeing how things connect.
But when your faith is centered mostly on emotion…
or surface-level encouragement…
it can start to feel shallow.
Like you’re not really growing…
you’re just repeating.
And you may not say it out loud…
but there’s a part of you that’s thinking—
“I need more than this.”
Strength — When You Feel Alive in Action… But Stuck in Stillness
You connect with God through action.
You feel closest to Him when you’re doing something that matters…
serving someone…
building something…
helping… leading… showing up in a tangible way.
That’s where your faith feels alive.
But sitting still for long periods of time?
Trying to force a quiet time that feels disconnected from action?
That can feel frustrating.
Hard to maintain.
And eventually, you might stop altogether…
not because your faith isn’t important…
but because the way you’ve been told to do it…
doesn’t work for how you’re wired.

Why Most Faith Advice Only Works for Some People
Now here’s what most people don’t realize.
Most of the faith advice you’ve been given…
was probably designed for one of these ways of connecting.
Not all of them.
So if you’ve been trying to follow a method…
that doesn’t match how God designed you…
of course it feels hard.
Of course it doesn’t stick.
It was never meant to.
And that doesn’t mean you’re failing.
It means the method doesn’t match your design.
What Changes When Your Faith Aligns with Your Design
When your faith aligns with how God designed you to connect with Him…
everything changes.
It stops feeling like something you’re trying to keep up with…
and starts becoming something you actually live from.
Something that fits into your real life…
instead of competing with it.
So if you’re starting to see yourself in one of these…
and you’re wondering—
“Which one is actually natural for me?”
I created something to help you with that.
It’s called the Faith Shape Quiz.
And it will show you how you’re uniquely designed to grow spiritually…
so you can stop guessing…
and start building a faith rhythm that actually fits your life.
And when you take it…
I’d love to know what you discover.
Because this might be the moment…
where your faith finally starts to make sense again.
Let me know in the comments. . . Which one felt most like you—Heart, Soul, Mind, or Strength? Take the quiz to see if you’re right.
Be filled to overflowing,
