Are you feeling stuck in your faith journey or unsure how to move forward in your work or life? You’re not alone. Many Christian women entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals wrestle with finding clarity, direction, and a deeper connection to God’s plan for you.
In this Blog, we’ll uncover the keys to unlocking forward momentum by exploring three powerful aspects of your life:
- Your faith, the spiritual anchor that grounds and empowers you.
- Your personality, the unique way God designed you to navigate life and relationships.
- Your values, the principles that guide your decisions and actions.
When these three are aligned, they create a solid foundation for living out God’s plan with confidence and purpose. Along with discovering how these three areas work together, I share practical steps to deepen your faith, embrace your God-given design, and align your values so your work and life reflect His greater purpose.

1. Faith: Your Spiritual Anchor
Faith is the cornerstone of our adventure with God. It grounds us in truth, offers hope in challenging times, and provides the assurance that we’re never walking alone. Yet, faith isn’t meant to be stagnant; it’s a living, growing relationship with God.
When we prioritize time with Him—through prayer, worship, and studying His Word—our faith deepens.
But what happens when life gets busy? Often, faith can take a backseat to the demands of work and family. This is where intentionality becomes essential. Two specific things you can do to deepen your faith include:
Morning Devotion and Prayer:
Dedicate the first 15-30 minutes of your day to spending time with God through prayer and reading scripture. This sets a positive and spiritual tone for the rest of your day.
- Create a plan for what you want to do during this time. I suggest starting in the New Testament and study one of the Epistles (Paul’s letters).
Journaling Your Faith Journey:
Reflect daily or weekly on how you’ve seen God at work in your life. Write down answered prayers, lessons learned from scripture, and areas where you need His guidance.
- Don’t limit yourself to only long-form writing either. Make lists, doodle, mind-map, whatever works for you to get ideas and thoughts on paper. (here is a video about Praying in Color if you want more ideas, you’ll find the link in the description)
Creating a Personalized Faith Plan allows you to design spiritual practices that fit your life and nurture your relationship with God. By keeping that appointment with Him and integrating faith into your daily routines, you build a foundation of trust that propels you forward.

2. Personality: God’s Unique Design
Your personality isn’t just a quirk or trait; it’s part of God’s intentional design for your life. Whether you’re an introvert who thrives on deep connections or an extrovert energized by interaction, your personality plays a key role in how you approach challenges, relationships, and opportunities.
Understanding your personality can reveal how God wired you for specific roles and purposes.
When you align your business/work or ministry with your personality, you’ll find more joy and less frustration in it. For example, an extrovert might excel in networking and speaking engagements, while an introvert might thrive in creating content or mentoring others one-on-one. By embracing your personality, you’re not just being true to yourself—you’re honoring God’s design.
Two important reasons to understand how you can use God’s design of you to deepen your faith include:
Leveraging Your Strengths in Service:
When you know your unique strengths and how God has equipped you, you can use them to serve others in a way that glorifies Him. Whether it’s offering hospitality, teaching, or leading, understanding your design helps you step into roles that align with His purpose.
- You can do these things in your job, your business, or your home. Instead of always trying to improve in those areas where you feel inadequate, examine closely how you are best suited to help others.
Finding Rest in Who You Are:
By embracing your God-given personality, you can stop striving to be someone you’re not. This acceptance allows you to trust that God can work through your natural tendencies and preferences, deepening your faith as you rely on Him rather than forcing yourself to fit a mold.
- Your identity in Christ, that’s what matters most. God’s idea of success is that you are satisfied in the work you are doing and that you are becoming more like Jesus. Make His opinion of you higher than anyone else’s, including your own.

3. Values: Your Moral Compass
Values are the principles that guide your decisions and define what matters most to you. As a Christian, your values should be rooted in Biblical truths, but they’re also influenced by your life experiences, upbringing, and spiritual journey.
When your values are clear, decision-making becomes easier because you’re anchored in what truly matters. For instance, if integrity and family are core values, you’ll prioritize ethical business practices and work-life balance.
Values can also be applied to:
Cultivating Stronger Relationships:
When kindness and honesty are key values, you’re more likely to foster genuine connections with others, creating trust and mutual respect in personal and professional relationships.
Navigating Tough Choices with Clarity:
Values like faith and courage can guide you through difficult decisions, ensuring you remain aligned with God’s will even when challenges arise.
- This is what I call the Values Clarity Filter. Once you know your top five values you can pull any decision through this filter (imagine pulling down through your five fingers toward your wrist) to see if an opportunity is right for you.
A Personalized Faith Plan helps you align your values with your daily actions, ensuring that every step you take honors God’s will.
