How you can turn everyday life and work into worship

December 16, 2025 by Deneen Troupe-Buitrago Leave a Comment

What If Worship Wasn’t Something You Do—But Something You Live?

December always makes us pause.

Between year-end deadlines, family commitments, holiday events, and the desire to “finish strong,” it’s easy to feel like faith is one more thing on your list.

And yet…
something inside you is craving more.

Not more tasks.
More connection.
More presence.
More God in the middle of your real life.

Here’s the truth most Christian women were never taught:

**Worship isn’t what happens on Sunday.

Worship is who you become as you walk with God in your everyday life.**

  • Your routines.
  • Your meetings.
  • Your leadership.
  • Your errands.
  • Your conversations.
  • Your work.

All of it can be worship when your whole design—Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength—is turned toward Him.

And this is where the Hebrew word Avodah transforms everything.

The Power of AVODAH—Work, Worship, and Service as One

In Scripture, the word Avodah means:

  • Work
  • Worship
  • Service

All the same word.
All the same idea.

In God’s design, your work is not separate from your worship.
Your leadership is not separate from your spirituality.
Your routines are not separate from your relationship with Him.

Your whole life is meant to be a seamless expression of worship.

This is why compartmentalized faith leaves so many women feeling spiritually dry. Trying to “fit God in,” instead of seeing Him woven through everything they do.

But when you understand your HSMS design, worship becomes natural—because you worship God the way He designed you to connect with Him.

Let’s break this down…

How Your Design Expresses Worship in Everyday Life

1. HEART-LED WORSHIP: Worship Through Emotion + Connection

You worship when you feel deeply connected to God and others.

In everyday life, Heart-led worship looks like:

  • Turning ordinary moments into communion with God
  • Playing a song while you tidy the house and letting lyrics turn your attention to Him
  • Bringing encouragement, compassion, and empathy into your workplace
  • Pausing in the car between appointments to simply say, “God, I know You’re here.”

Heart-led women worship most when they stay relational and emotionally present with God—even in busy seasons.

2. SOUL-LED WORSHIP: Worship Through Reflection + Meaning

Soul-led women worship God by slowing down enough to notice Him.

Your everyday worship might look like:

  • Reflecting on where God showed up in your week
  • Turning a morning routine into a sacred ritual of gratitude
  • Bringing beauty, creativity, and intentionality to your workspace
  • Letting quiet moments become encounters with God’s presence

Soul-led worship thrives through meaning, reflection, and intentional quiet in the middle of life’s noise.

3. MIND-LED WORSHIP: Worship Through Truth + Understanding

Mind-led worship happens when your thoughts align with God’s truth.

Your worship might include:

  • Turning a project into worship by doing it with integrity and excellence
  • Consciously replacing lies with Scripture between meetings
  • Using strategic thinking as a gift to bless your team
  • Worshiping God by solving problems, planning ahead, or stewarding resources well

For Mind-led women, thinking deeply with God is worship.

4. STRENGTH-LED WORSHIP: Worship Through Action + Service

Strength-led women worship by doing—showing love through action.

Everyday worship may look like:

  • Serving clients with excellence
  • Completing tasks that make life easier for others
  • Honoring God through discipline, consistency, or follow-through
  • Using your hands, your energy, and your practical skills to love people well

Strength-led worship turns physical action into spiritual devotion.

Want to know which of the four areas is your primary way of connecting with God?
Take the Faith Shape Quiz™ to discover whether you’re Heart-led, Soul-led, Mind-led, or Strength-led. It’s the first step to understanding how you naturally worship God in your everyday life.

When Every Part of You Points Back to God, Life Stops Feeling Split

This is the shift from:

Routine → Relationship

Compartmentalized faith → Integrated faith

“I have to do these spiritual tasks” → “My whole life is worship.”

The HSMS Model™ helps you see where connection comes naturally.
The FRAME Tool™ shows you how to stretch into deeper growth without overwhelm.

Because your worship isn’t meant to stay in one corner of your design.

FRAME helps you see:

  • Your Primary Leading — where worship feels natural
  • Your Secondary Leading — what supports your daily rhythm
  • Your Insight Leading — where God is growing your awareness
  • Your Aspiration Leading — the area God is inviting you to develop next

When you understand these four corners of your design, you stop forcing yourself into routines that don’t fit—and start worshiping God through every part of who you are.

FRAME turns worship from a Sunday activity into a whole-life expression.
Your work becomes worship.
Your leadership becomes service.
Your routines become spiritual rhythms.
Your everyday life becomes a living testimony.

This is Avodah.
This is alignment.
This is overflow.

It is the Perfect Time to Build a Faith Plan That Fits Your Life

December is often the season where women say:

“I’ll start fresh in January.”
“I’ll get consistent next year.”
“I’ll figure out a routine after the holidays.”

But here’s what I’ve learned as a coach:

**Spiritual transformation begins with preparation, not pressure.

Clarity now gives you momentum later.**

If you end 2025 feeling scattered and spiritually tired…
you’ll start 2026 the same way.

But if you enter the new year already knowing:

  • How you best connect with God
  • What rhythms fit your actual life
  • What practices help you worship naturally in your everyday routines
  • How your work and faith can finally feel integrated

…you walk into January with peace, confidence, and direction.

This is why I built the Personalized Faith Plan™.

Your Foundation for a Life of Worship (AVODAH)

If you want your faith to be woven into your:

✔ Work
✔ Leadership
✔ Home life
✔ Routines
✔ Goals
✔ Mission

…you need a plan.

Not a checklist.
Not a rigid schedule.
Not someone else’s devotional routine.

But a framework that honors the way God designed you—
Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength.

The PFP gives you:

  • A clear picture of your Faith Shape™
  • A personalized Bible study, prayer, worship, and service approach
  • Routines that match your season, not someone else’s
  • Tools to turn everyday life into worship
  • A foundation for living with purpose in the marketplace
  • Space to integrate work + worship through the Hebrew lens of Avodah

When you live this way, your work doesn’t pull you away from God—
it becomes the way you serve Him.

Your leadership becomes your ministry.
Your business becomes your mission field.
Your decisions become devotional moments.
Your whole life becomes worship.
